I Am So Blessed!!!

By God's grace I arrived safely to the States on Tuesday morning. How come the "long flight" seems always too short? :) I think I planned way too many things to do in 8 hours, or I'm just used to travelling 10-12 hours to get home to Romania... Anyways, I had a very pleasant trip and I got a lot of things done.

It's been a very busy three days so far. On Tuesday night I already had a Dessert Fellowship with the ladies of First Baptist Church in Chesterton. What a lovely evening that was! I'm so thankful for the Dujmovich family for hosting this event. It's been wonderful to spend some time with Lea, who just graduated from our Bible School and I loved getting to know the rest of her family. They are all so special!!!

On my second day I had the opportunity to visit Hobart and share about our ministry on the church's Wednesday prayer night. It was a blessing to see some of the people I met last year and get to know new brothers and sisters. Pastor Brown is such a wonderful example as he is serving the Lord faithfully! I surely missed Mrs Brown, my "American Mom", who went to be with the Lord a year ago. Before the church service I went on a long prayer walk around the lake and I thanked the Lord for all the nice memories and for the privilege of knowing Daneth Brown. Please pray for Pastor Brown and for this wonderful congregation.

Today is my "school day", so I'd better go and get some work done. And then we are off to clean the church building with Lea tonight!!! :)

My Hungarian WELCOME card by Lea! :)

The First Four Days

Here’s my first update many of you’ve been asking for… I arrived to London on Thursday after a long-long trip, but God knew there was a lady who needed to hear about HIM. So I don’t consider the many hours spent on Heathrow Airport wasted time. As it turned out later my siblings thought I was at a different airport, so we never found each other. Nevertheless, I found my way “home”, and it was a great experience to see how the Lord had everything under control. Plus I was so blessed by -what I like to call- “the kindness of strangers”.

My first few days here were planned to visit my family, but the Lord gave me an opportunity to share in a church this morning about our ministry. What special people they are! I was very touched by their love and interest in what God is doing in Hungary. Thank you, Lord, for my new brothers and sisters! The rest of the day turned out to be a big “cousins reunion” and a lot of fun with all the babies I’ve never met before. Don’t you just love big families? Enjoy the pics!

Leaving soon!!!

Only two weeks until I get on the airplane and I leave Hungary. So much to do still! But thank God, planning is going well, and this is already week nr. 4 in the summer semester at FBS. I'm learning so much!!!

In the meantime Bible School is getting to the end as well. :( I'm trying to use every opportunity to spend time with the girls and enjoy these last moments together. On the picture below you can see a shot from Sofia's surprise birthday party. We waited almost an hour for her to get there, but it was worth it: she was REALLY surprised. :-)

Please pray for wisdom for me as I’m trying to finish well and get ready for the awesome summer the Lord has prepared for me!

P.L.A.N.E. T.I.C.K.E.T.S. :)

It's been a long, long waiting period, but I HAVE MY PLANE TICKETS!!!!! Finally. :) So happy and so thankful! Praise the Lord!!! I wish I could say I've been patient all along, trusting God wholeheartedly, but unfortunately that wasn't the case always. :( There were some hard days when I was wondering, how long, oh, Lord... I thank God for His perfect timing and the precious lessons He taught me during these past couple of months. Yay, I'm going to America and to Quebec! :-))) Only 28 days left... and sooo much to do! I'll keep you updated! Praise our Heavenly Father with me!

Amazed... Once Again!

We just finished an amazing prayer breakfast at my house with 8 other ladies. Do you want to know my praise for today? I will share anyways. :-) Someone gave $8oo toward my tuition for the Summer Semester!!! I am so thankful… and so excited! God has been faithful ever since I started my Biblical Counseling courses! I am very thankful for the staff of Faith Bible Seminary who made it possible to have a scholarship until now. And may God bless my new anonymous supporter for giving generously so that I can start one more semester in just two weeks! Praise the Lord! What an encouragement this is for all my girls too who have been praying faithfully for this miracle! Thank you for praying and rejoicing with me!

I still didn’t find my lost camera, but I have a picture for you anyways! :)

The LORD is my Shepherd I shall not Want

John 10 is one of my favorite passages from the Bible. I just heard a wonderful sermon about the blessings of being a sheep and since it was very encouraging to me, I’ll share it with you. :) Jesus says that, “When he [the Good Shepherd] has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.” (John 10:4) Here are four blessings of being a sheep:
1.       We are placed by God.
2.       We are protected by Him.
3.       We have a path to follow.
4.       We have the blessing of a Partner.

As I’m praying for the summer I find a huge encouragement in these truths. It’s so wonderful to know that God has a plan for me, and all I need to do is to follow. After listening to this message and giving all my questions back to God, I received the wonderful news that I have enough money on my account to by the plane tickets!!! Isn’t that wonderful? The Lord is so faithful! Please keep praying with me for the missing amount for my tuition and insurance. This will be around $1300. I'm praying with expectations and I trust God He will provide!!!
