Michigan

Awesome week – lovely people and beautiful places!!! The Lord blessed me with many wonderful new friends in Michigan in these past couple of days.

I had the opportunity to share about Word of Life Hungary’s ministry in two churches. I was so encouraged once again by my brothers and sisters’ faithfulness to our Savior and their excitement for missions. What a joy it was to meet two of my girls’ families!!! KRISTA is doing her summer ministry in France, so she couldn’t be at home, but KEZIA surprized her parents as she walked into their kitchen just a couple of hours after my arrival to Muskegon. I’m so thankful for the possibility to visit with these great families, I’ve been so blessed by their love and care!

Two wonderful couples - they were a huge blessing for me!

Last Walk in Lafayette

I am so blessed! Yes, a dream (that I’ve been praying for since 2006) came true in these past two weeks. It was absolutely wonderful to finally be in Lafayette, IN, and take Biblical Counseling classes through Faith Bible Seminary. I loved the people, I loved the church and their awesome ministries, but I am most thankful for what the Lord did in my heart during the two courses I took. There are no words to describe how much I love my wonderful Savior, and what a privilege it is to call Him my Best Friend!!!

I know a picture is worth a thousand words, so here you go… :)

Old and New Friends

What an encouraging first Sunday this was! I met some wonderful people in Hobart and Valparaiso, Indiana. I was so touched by their love and kindness, and I was just overwhelmed by the goodness of God I experienced in these two churches. It's such a blessing to belong to the family of God, and know that wherever I go I'll meet brothers and sisters in Christ! They were all so very gracious and encouraging, especially taking in consideration that I presented our ministry for the first time in English! :)

I had the privilege to see some dear friends as well tonight, Wayne and Susie Vanderwier and Donna Snow-Dujmovich, who is the mom of one of my girls in the Bible School. I'm so thankful for all that God has blessed with me in these past couple of days!!!

Good Afternoon, America!

By the grace of God our plane landed safely in Chicago at 3:15 pm yesterday. I had a wonderful trip, and no jetlag praise the Lord! Pastor Brown and his wife are such a blessing!!! They gave me a little tour in downtown Chicago and then we came home to Hobart, IN. We had dinner at a very cute restaurant. Since I already miss soup I ordered lemon rice soup and fresh salad, it was delicious!

As I woke up this morning (on my waterbed :-)) God reminded me on the verse one of my friends wrote me just before leaving Hungary: “It is a land the Lord your God cares for; the eyes of the Lord your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its end.” (Deut. 11:12) We’ve been studying Deuteronomy for the last couple of weeks and I’m so amazed by God’s faithfulness and care for His children! Isn’t encouraging that the Lord’s eyes are on us as well continually???
