For my Hungarian Friends :)

I just thought I’ll introduce you to some fun things from America. You probably don’t find most of these things on the other side of the ocean – and to be honest I was amazed (shocked?:)) by some of them. I’ll write my thoughts in Hungarian, because it’s my Hungarian friends who need explanation for these, like I did! :-)))

Jégre/jégkására öntik, ebből lesz a "hótölcsér".

No comment. :)

Kókuszkrém konzervben. Hmmm... :)

Gyerekek nagy kedvence a nyári időszakban.

Croissant tubusban. 10 perc alatt kész van. Nem akartam elhinni... :-)

I Am So Blessed!!!

By God's grace I arrived safely to the States on Tuesday morning. How come the "long flight" seems always too short? :) I think I planned way too many things to do in 8 hours, or I'm just used to travelling 10-12 hours to get home to Romania... Anyways, I had a very pleasant trip and I got a lot of things done.

It's been a very busy three days so far. On Tuesday night I already had a Dessert Fellowship with the ladies of First Baptist Church in Chesterton. What a lovely evening that was! I'm so thankful for the Dujmovich family for hosting this event. It's been wonderful to spend some time with Lea, who just graduated from our Bible School and I loved getting to know the rest of her family. They are all so special!!!

On my second day I had the opportunity to visit Hobart and share about our ministry on the church's Wednesday prayer night. It was a blessing to see some of the people I met last year and get to know new brothers and sisters. Pastor Brown is such a wonderful example as he is serving the Lord faithfully! I surely missed Mrs Brown, my "American Mom", who went to be with the Lord a year ago. Before the church service I went on a long prayer walk around the lake and I thanked the Lord for all the nice memories and for the privilege of knowing Daneth Brown. Please pray for Pastor Brown and for this wonderful congregation.

Today is my "school day", so I'd better go and get some work done. And then we are off to clean the church building with Lea tonight!!! :)

My Hungarian WELCOME card by Lea! :)

The First Four Days

Here’s my first update many of you’ve been asking for… I arrived to London on Thursday after a long-long trip, but God knew there was a lady who needed to hear about HIM. So I don’t consider the many hours spent on Heathrow Airport wasted time. As it turned out later my siblings thought I was at a different airport, so we never found each other. Nevertheless, I found my way “home”, and it was a great experience to see how the Lord had everything under control. Plus I was so blessed by -what I like to call- “the kindness of strangers”.

My first few days here were planned to visit my family, but the Lord gave me an opportunity to share in a church this morning about our ministry. What special people they are! I was very touched by their love and interest in what God is doing in Hungary. Thank you, Lord, for my new brothers and sisters! The rest of the day turned out to be a big “cousins reunion” and a lot of fun with all the babies I’ve never met before. Don’t you just love big families? Enjoy the pics!
