Please pray that I
receive my Travel Authorization to the States! It’s not automatic and the fact
that my visa request was denied back in 2008 makes things a little more
complicated. I applied for the visa waiver program today, they’ll let me know
soon. Prayers are appreciated! Thank you!!!

Best with Details!
I was watching some pictures about God’s creation today and my conclusion is the following: whatever God does is always beautiful and good, and He is the best with details!!! This is also what I experience daily as I’m planning my summer furlough. I’m amazed by the love the Lord showers on me through His children. I wish I could quote everybody. Here are only some of the encouraging responses I've received so far:
Monca, that is sooo exciting! Praise God! I'm so eager to hear about your adventures here and what God has in store. : )
We would sure love to see you when u are in Indy.
Please let us know if we can help you in any way.
We would love to have you come and speak about what the Lord has you doing and what the Lord is doing with you.
Let me know your schedule of coming and leaving US. We will attempt to take care of you as a "daughter" away from home.
Thank you for booking your trip with Expedia. This email is your receipt for the travel item(s) you just booked. (Another good one. :-))
My husband and I would be delighted to have you stay with us while you’re here. That would be absolutely wonderful.
We pray that your plans will be well set up and that the Lord will provide all you need for this trip and contacts and studies in the US.
We are excited to have you in the area and to renew our friendships.
Am I blessed or what??? Thank you everybody, I’m so thankful for all of you! 42 days left!

A Bittersweet Day
The Summer Volunteers’ Training is going on right now. There are around 120 young people here on our campus to get ready for the summer camps. This is wonderful! I’m so happy for them and for what the Lord is going to do this summer. The sad part of the day was when it hit me that I won’t be here for camps this summer, not even for a day. I mean I knew this obviously, but having all these people here made me realize even more how much I love camp ministry. Yes, I cried a bit, but this was one of those “good cries” :), when you know you’ll miss something precious, but in the same time you are so thankful that God allowed you to be part of it for many years. And I am so excited for what the Lord has in store for me this summer!!!
Well, don’t think I am staying at home just because I don’t have responsibilities this weekend! :) There are so many opportunities to do something for the Lord! It was good to catch up with many of “my girls”, and I could even help out in the kitchen. I love background work, and honestly, it was even refreshing that instead of teaching seminars and leading meetings I could do dishes and serve with a wonderful kitchen crew! Praise the Lord! Please pray for the rest of the weekend, and for our camps, so that many young people would meet Jesus Christ this summer!

50 Days!!!
Wow, there are only 50 days left until I get on that airplane on June 1st. Incredible!
Preparation is going pretty well - I think. :) Well, I haven't done this before, so I don't know, but I'm amazed how things are coming along. I'm so thankful for the many encouraging emails I'm receiving from my friends from overseas every day. God is so good to me!!! Thank you everybody who are working so hard to help me plan the traveling, my housing and the opportunities to share about my ministry! I'm very thankful for each one of you!!!!!
The most exciting thing is how God is preparing me for this trip! We've been studying the Book of Acts in our Quiet Times. As I was reading about Paul's journeys I found a parallel between what Paul was doing and what I set as my goals at the beginning of planning this furlough. This was so encouraging! So here they are, MY GOALS:
1. Share the Gospel wherever I go (Acts 14:21)
They preached the gospel in that city and won a large number of disciples.
2. Share what God is doing in Hungary (Acts 14:27, 15:4)
On arriving there, they gathered the church together and reported all that God had done through them and how he had opened a door of faith to the Gentiles. When they came to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and the apostles and elders, to whom they reported everything God had done through them.
3. Be an encouragement, make people happy :) as I’m spending time with them (Acts 14:22, 15:3)
...strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said. The church sent them on their way, and as they traveled through Phoenicia and Samaria, they told how the Gentiles had been converted. This news made all the believers very glad.
And they stayed there a long time with the disciples. :-) (Acts 14:28)
