By the grace of God our plane landed safely
in Chicago at 3:15 pm yesterday. I had a wonderful trip, and no jetlag praise the
Lord! Pastor Brown and his wife are such a blessing!!! They gave me a little
tour in downtown Chicago and then we came home to Hobart, IN. We had dinner at
a very cute restaurant. Since I already miss soup I ordered lemon rice soup and
fresh salad, it was delicious!
As I woke up this morning (on my waterbed :-)) God reminded me on the verse one of my friends wrote me just
before leaving Hungary: “It is a land the Lord your God cares for; the eyes of
the Lord your God are continually on it from the beginning of the year to its
end.” (Deut. 11:12) We’ve been studying Deuteronomy for the last couple of weeks
and I’m so amazed by God’s faithfulness and care for His children! Isn’t
encouraging that the Lord’s eyes are on us as well continually???
Welcome to the United States! I hope you have a blessed time. I will miss getting to see you this tear in Hungary.
